So I recently bought a game capture hd pro through amazon, when i first set it up with my xbox my tv displayed a unsupported video message, i figured it was because i used component hdmi aswell as regular hdmi cable, I made the input and output hdmi cables and i managed to get a signal on my tv, but on my desktop (the capture menu) I've been getting a no signal in the status section of the capture screen. I tried screwing around with the options but had nothing available, so I scoured the internet for a solution and only found the "re-install and select repair, delete drivers and etc."
Thing is that I've tried that... at least a dozen times... and nothing changes except that now I can't open the options (again in the capture screen) without the program "encountering an error" and closing.
I've been trying to troubleshoot this for at least 4 hours now popping back in to see if I can find some new solution...
Currently I still have a no signal in the status bar and opening the options menu causes a crash of sorts, BUT I do get signal to my TV, I can play my Xbox just fine but I can't get "signal" from the capture card...
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Just a side note, I'm running windows 7, I have a 2gb GDDR5 video card, 4 GB ram, dual core 3.0 (I believe Pentium processor) and yes I did install directX 9 and all my drivers are up to date.
