Lost "dla"

How do I restore DLA? Roxio Creator Plus came with Dell XPS 400 Desktop. Have original Roxio Creator Plus CD.

 

When I click on burner drive, drop down does not have "DLA with a check mark", "Use with DLA" or "Make compatible".

 

If I go to properties, there is no "DLA" tab.

 

Shoud I reinstall Roxio Creator Plus?

 

Or I just purchased Roxio Creator Plus 2012 - install this instead?? If so does old Roxio first need to be removed??

 

I have 2 Dell XPS 400's' DLA is working on one but not the other.

If you want DLA, I'd say re-install your original Creator Plus.

 

DLA was discontinued after version 9, back in 2007. Given this fact, I would doubt that Creator Plus 2012 would have DLA at all.

 

I would have the original Creator Plus if I wanted/needed DLA. Otherwise I would completely uninstall it and install Creator Plus 2012 if the newer one had something I wanted.

 

Please be aware that Creator Plus is a version with reduced functions, cut-down from the original full suite.
