SimonJBrown
Not having any joy with this product. Re-installed to new PC and showing 2 problems manifesting themselves; 1. Says no signal form device, all connected fine and same cables worked fine on old laptop. 2. Product crashes when clicking Capture. It either gives exception error or stops responding and windows asks to end program. System is windows 7 x64 with all updates done. 4GB memory on a q6600 cpu. I have tried; A. Repair B. uninstall and reboot followed by clean install I will note the exception when that next happens, at the moment it wont even get as far as capture because it repeatably says no signal. Had nothing but trouble with this product, have to say the quality of the software is really poor. Nothing but trouble and crashes. Interestingly the "check updates" says there is an update, when i download and run it though the installer says i am already up to date.
Jim_Hardin
There is only one thing left to try then... This is extensive, but it what I suggest... Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished. Download and install the Revo Uninstaller. Then run it in Moderate Mode to remove any traces of Roxio. Create a New User Account with Administrator Privileges. Turn OFF any A/V & Firewall. Reboot and log on to that new account. Copy your entire disc to a new folder on your HDD. In that new folder, right click on Setup.exe and select Properties. Under the Compatibility tab, make sure nothing is checked! Right click Setup.exe and select Open. Allow it to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio not Windows) Use the Default Locations! If that doesn't work, Format C:\
