Creator 2012 Keeps Freezing

I am using Creator 2012 and the VideoWave unit to create my videos.

 

Randomly, it seems, the program just stops working and freezes during editing video. Task manager says the program is running. I have updated the video card drivers a few months ago and this problem persits, causing me to have to redo videos over and over. I am getting very frustrated.

 

I am not sure how to collect my system info for post, but I am using an HP Pavilion p7-1157c computer with Windows7, AMD Quad_Core A6-3600 processor, AMD Radeon HD 6530D integrated graphics, and 8GB DDR3 memory.

I have had that happen from time to time...

 

Best bet is to do a proper repair:

 

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

 

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

 

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

 

When you reach the screen where

Repair

is offered, choose that!

 

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Day one of use: So far so good! The repair seems to have done the trick. I will give it a week more of use before I say it in confidence, though....
