Split From Unrelated Thread.

I am having a similiar problem I capured a dvd of family event. I then went to burn it said i had to split so I did. after the first dvd was done {-r} it would not play properly it show the name I gave dvd for one minute but nothing else. when I open disc there are to titles roxio plasma and video_ts when i open video ts there are many files the first is video ts bup then video ts then files with video ts with numbers. I think it recorded please help. I am not very computer savey

You have 2, DVD's, correct?

 

Neither of them will Play???

 

Have you tried them in a Player as well as on another PC?

 

What are the Manufactures or these discs?

By the way, the files on the disc are what I would expect. Do you see any VOB files?

thx for responding i never bothered to burn 2 dvd i was just using the roxio for the first time. when i put in my dvd player i get the the title which i gave it with music and nothing else. same in computer . I started to convert the files in ainseesoft and it looked like it was reading the files in the conversion window . I would like to gett thos to work I think i have 14 days to return so I have 7 more days to try to get this to wrk

Always a good idea to have a disc or 2 of DVD RW media on hand...

 

It is erasable/reusable making it great for learning and testing

 

But it is not Permanent, so never use it for a Project you care about!!!

When you put the DVD into your player, and the menu showed up, did you click on the title to start the movie? You did not mention that you did, so it does beg the question.
