Tivo Video Disk Snafu

After a couple dozen successful DVD burns, Toast 11.1 now locks up when I try to add a second video file to the disc. I am putting four 1/2-hour shows on a DVD and now I can't get past the first file. When I try to add the second file, the beachball just spins and when I Force Quit, I am told that Toast is "not responding". Any wisdom here?

My best guess is a corrupted preference file. Go to your User>Library>Preferences folder and trash the Toast plist and prefs files (there is one of each) and then relaunch Toast. If you are running 10.7 or 10.8 you need to hold down the option key while selecting the Go menu in the Finder to access the user library.

Gave it a try, but still same non-result. When I try to add the second video file the "Add File" that comes up on the screen is dimmed, while it is bold on the first file that is successfully added.

I guess reinstalling Toast is the next step. Your issue is very uncommon and I can't think of any reason for it.
