10000K Memory Leak When Exiting Internal Tracks

chris_hoelscher

Question

EMC build 135B90A

i have notices than when i add text to an intercal text track and clisk DONE my total memory goers up by 10200K

this is repeatable and a SAVE does not free the acquired memory

when VW comes up and the project is loaded - i am sitting at 197500K

for example (as recorded by task manager - working set memory) - i started an internal tracks session at 480424K

when entering internal tracks - i actuall y dropped to 479160K

after pasting text in the appropriate track - dropped even further to 476644K

but when I clicked DONE and returned to the timeline - i jumped to 490764K

and it is totally repeatable

have others seen this? any thoughts? work-arounds ? i really dont want to shut down EMC every 30 minutes be cause i have exhausted real memory ...

thanks
