Interface Error 32030

Mike Lafferty

Question

I'm burning a DVD and when it gets to writing the lead in I get an interface error 32030 with the connection is not stable. The next message is that the disk failed to be written. Yesterday I was able to burn the same movie, but today it is in error. Is it the Apple USB SuperDrive i just purchased? I'm using OS X 10.8.3

Oftentimes the fix is to use a different brand of blank discs. Try with Verbatim media to see if it still occurs. Since this is an external drive you could try a different USB cable or a different USB port. Be sure not to connect the drive to a USB hub.

Ok, i've taken my hardware (new) to apple and had it check over, used new disks, burned from another cheaper program, and got a DVD movie completed. I deleted Toast 11 from the computer and reinstalled it. Attempted to burn the disk and it still won't write the lead in. Still get interface error 32030, the connection is not stable.

I think the problem is in the Toast 11 program, because everything else works. Is there a fix or will Roxie return payment for a faulty program? I know you don't work for them so I will

write directly.

I'm sorry that nothing seems to work. Roxio has a 30-day refund policy.
