Roxio Hd Capture Card Just Stopped Working.....

ok i bought a roxio 2 months ago along with a brand new hp i5 quad cord 8gb ram and 1tb harddrive and it runs windows 8 and today is the first day i have had a problem with it. now it will just not work at all i have tried to reinstall the software. ive tried to go from RGB cables to Hdmi still doesnt work. ive tried a new fire wire . still doesnt work. ive even tried plugging it into other usb slots, still doesnt power on or even show my xbox on screen. what could be a problem for it to work and record for 2 months then for it to just stop dead and not work at all?????

It is not installed properly!

 

This is what you need to do, as listed!!!

 

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

 

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

 

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

 

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

 

When you reach the screen where

Repair

is offered, choose that!

 

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

i did everything you have said and that didnt work either. im thinking the capture card is at fault and is broken.

Then you will have to contact Roxio and exchange it.
