How Do I Get A Product Key

pbosch

Question

I haven't been able to reactivate my software. The activation screen asks for a 25-digit product key that I don't have. I only have the CD key and a TSID number, whatever that is. I checked my Roxio account to see if I could get one from there but was unable to. I paid good money for my copy and do not wish to pay for an upgrade, especially since I see no need to.

Please help!

It probably isn't going to happen. Your best bet is to follow the instructions for the clean install of the software, and pray that the activation goes through.

Try the manual activation as described in the pinned post at the top of this section of the forum. (link).

When did you buy EMC 9? Where did you buy it? If you can't activate using the manual activation, you must contact Roxio/Corel and pay for support on this very old version. It would be cheaper to buy Creator 2012 off of a reputable dealer on Amazon or e-bay,

I bought it about 5 years ago at a Best Buy.

....; and???? What are you going to do? Did you do any updates to the computer like a new operating system. If you tried to do the manual activation, we are wasting our time. It just isn't going to work for you. Thtat is the bottom line and the reason you need to.

By the way, that version came out in 2006; that is more than 5 years ago.
