Quick Questions On Splitting Up Clips

armadaninja

Question

Alright so i usually film for about 3 hours at a time and when i do i do not stop the recording, however i normally take only like 6 of those clips which are around 1 minute each to edit into a final video document. Hopefully this is clear so far, however i use audacity to capture my voice while i speak and as you may know it is a pain to sinc once let alone 6 times. So my question is; is there a way for the audio to be placed on the clip so that when i trim the front position it does the same trim for the audio? also is there a way to somehow mark the portion i want to export to my desktop only, thanks if you have any questions feel free to ask.

ah, i think i may have worded this wrong, what i want is that say for instance i have a 20 minute clip of gameplay and a 20 minute clip of audio, and i want the video to start at 7:29 and the same with the audio so that it doesnt start the audio at 0:00 but it does at 7:29

Split the video at 7:29. Then add the audio clip to the internal audio track of the 2nd clip
