gotbass
hi i have read reviews which say that it is possible to set the xbox to HDMI 1080p and record in 720p with 60fps. is this definitely possible? and i also have a samsung monitor which only has DVI and VGA in so i use a HDMI to DVI cable in order to play 1080p on my monitor. i assume it would still work when i plug the console directly into the the capture card and then my HDMI to DVI cable into my monitor? already ordered and so i guess il find out eventually! thanks =)
tbrewst
You've posted in the Standard resolution section. Are you really asking about that or the HD model? The Original version was only SD and had no HDMI input or output.

MrDerpski
1) i have read reviews which say that it is possible to set the xbox to HDMI 1080p and record in 720p with 60fps. is this definitely possible? 2) and i also have a samsung monitor which only has DVI and VGA in so i use a HDMI to DVI cable in order to play 1080p on my monitor. i assume it would still work when i plug the console directly into the the capture card and then my HDMI to DVI cable into my monitor? 1) Sadly no. If you set up your console to output at 1080p, it'll only record at 30fps. However this doesn't really matter much as YouTube only plays videos at 30fps. If you really want to record in 60fps then you will have to set your console to output at 720p or 480p. 2) Theoretically, it's possible as long as it's connected to the output section. Well as far as my experience w/ the RGC goes that isn't possible. But don't worry 720p looks pretty decent too!
