Toast 11 Titanium Quitting Repeatedly On Mac Os X 10.8.3

Robert - Vancouver

Question

I have been using Toast 11 Titanium for about 2 months, without any difficulties. Suddenly, the application is "quitting unexpectedly" and repeatedly. Now, I cannot even open the application without receiving an immediate error message indicating that the application has quit unexpectedly. Does anyone have any ideas or similar experiences?

A good place to start is to trash the Toast plist and prefs files that are in your User>Library>Preferences folder and then attempt to relaunch Toast. If you are running OS 10.8.x you need to hold down the option key while selecting the Go menu in the Finder to reveal your user library.

In the past I've known Toast to refuse to launch when there is an external Firewire audio device connected to the Mac and when there are Xvid codecs in the QuickTime plugins folder in one of the libraries. I'm not aware of other conflicts. You might try starting Toast in the Mac's Safe mode to see if that works.
