Lost Cd, Registered Product. Need Dl For Software.

So I have my Roxio Currently hooked up to my xbox and it's on, but on my computer, the device shows up as "TRANSCODER".

I have the S/N on the back of the device, and the product is registered, but the 14 period is long gone. I used it for a while, and it worked fine. When I updated my computer and such, it just force crashes everytime I open the "Capture" part. I have used it, as I've uploaded videos to youtube on this account youtube.com/user/17hax (don't know if that'd help prove ownership but worth a shot) What do I need to provide to get the software download?

EDIT* I've found the disc, out of sleeve. Luckily I registered the product.

 

 

EDIT*** I repaired it, and it's still force crashing. So I uninstalled, and reinstalled. Still force crashing. Any ideas?

This should get you going.

If it shows TRANSCODER you plugged in the USB Capture Device before installing the software with the correct driver, windows installed a generic TRANSCODER driver.

 

With Roxio Game Capture plugged into a USB Port on the PCm open device manager and right click the TRANSCODER entry and uninstall, remove the RGC USB Device and reboot the PC. Use the installation disc and choose repair when offered, run it and when it's finished remove the Software disc and reboot the PC.

 

When the PC boots up open device manager and plugin the RGC USB Device, now what do you show for a driver?

Should I be able to open the "capture" portion without the RGC plugged in?

So, it's not showing up as Transcoder anymore, but the "Capture" portion is still force closing.

So I've narrowed it down, I don't think it's the Drivers. The Drivers installed fine. But the problem is the "Capture" portion of the Launch Pad. Every time I launch it, RGC or not, it crashes. So idk.
