Yes. Twitch and Justin are officially separate entities, and now use entirely different accounts for each site. You can stream to Justin, but not Twitch. Twitch is for gaming, Justin is for everything else. The problem is that you can still sign into either type of account, but for a Twitch account, there is no channel to choose from, leaving the entire thing unable to work. No livestreaming for me, or for anyone else without an external program. Perhaps its time to patch it almost a month later, as well as the software's numerous other problems. It would be much appreciated.

...and yet in a month only TWO people have the issue???

I'm having the same problem

Coming up on 2 months, and now there are 3. And yet, prior to Twitch changing things almost 2 months ago, everything was fine. I would imagine that you want Roxio/Corel to provide a patch to fix things that another company will foul up again, in the future?

Not a Roxio issue...

One of the other gurus here, cdanteek, was kind enough to do some research and found this info:

What I've found..

Can't Sign in with a Twitch Account

We have recently pushed an update on Justin.tv whereby users with Twitch accounts will no longer have access to JTV. There is an exception for Twitch users with active Pro accounts. If you have a Twitch account and an active Pro account on JTV, you will still have access.

This is part of an ongoing effort to separate Justin.tv and Twitch. If you are a Twitch user and want to chat on Justin.tv, please create a new account on Justin.tv.

I understand your frustration. Trust me - I'm attached to my typical username as well as you are. No one likes changing their username. In that light, I suggest you perhaps do username_jtv if you are looking to have both a JTV and Twitch username.

We are not exactly "the same thing anymore." As an example, we have a different codebase (JTV is written with Django and Twitch with Ruby on Rails) and different chat servers (TMI vs. jtvirc). It creates issues allowing cross-site usage, which unfortunately resulted in us having to restrict Twitch members from logging in. I'm sorry about this.

This throws some more light on it, but it remains to be an issue with Justin/Twitch not roxio...[/indent]

So I think it is time to close this out ;)
