sknis
What software - spell it out please - Pro or standard? Not all videos can be downloaded for capture. he capture part of Video Copy and Convert does not work properly for most people.. Capture the video using the Firefox extension -- Easy YouTube Video Downloader Extension. You can work with that downloaded video. Note Creator doesn't work well with flash files. sknis
PRO I was trying to d/l and convert some videos from youtube and elsewhere. How do I obtain the Firefox extension? thanks, Ed First install Mozilla Firefox on your computer. It is a Internet Browser. When it opens, go to "Tools" then Add-ons. search for the add on that I suggested. Install that. Go to the video you want to capture, and you will see a download button, select to save it as a mp4 file. It will save it as a temporary file. Play it. Navigate to it and drag it to Edit Video Advanced (Video Wave) you should be able to edit it there and output it as a new video file. The format you output depends on what you want to do with it after the edit. I just did it so it should work for you if the file is NOT restricted. sknis
What worked? I believe he meant that Ed from Pittsburgh's ability to trick us in helping him post that video. It is evident that he didn't really want help. Since the video was really not necessary for this discussion, the link has been removed. It was a childless stunt. EDFROMPGH
I was not being childish. I was merely posting a link to a web video that is compatible with the software. Sorry if I offended. ESJ p.s. how long am I on probation or whatever due to this warning?

bimicher
I just converted this video from it's native format to MPEG-4, and it worked. Removed What "native format"? When I downloaded the (juvenile) video it was in mp4 format - no conversion required.
