nhinchli
I just registered and download Easy VHS to DVD 3. It installed correctly, but when I inserted the Roxio Video Capture USB into my PC, it could not find the driver. I searched online and on my hard drive. The Roxio CD software disk was still in its slot. Where can I find and download this driver? Thanks!

The drivers are installed when you install the software, there is no place from which to download the drivers. In Device Managaer under Sound, video game controllers do you have 2 entries for Roxio Video Capture USB?
nhinchli
Message said that software loaded fine. However, when I plugged in the USB, the message indicated that the USB driver could not be found. It gave me an option to search on the Internet for the driver. That too was unsuccessful. And yes, I figured the driver should be on the disk, but it didn't load. That's why I am seeking help. The only item in device manager/video controllers is Realtek high definition audio. bimicher
The only item in device manager/video controllers is Realtek high definition audio. Is this with the USB device plugged in? If not then the install did not go correctly
nhinchli
I plugged the USB device in and now in addition to Realtek HD audio, I see ONE Roxio video capture USB.

nhinchli
When I open the roxio video capture USB the message says, the device is not configured correctly (code 1) There is no driver selected for the device info. Set or element. To reinstall driver, click reinstall driver. I did this and got message, "windows was unable to install your roxio video capture USB. Windows could not find software for your device. Follow this process (as recommended by Jim Hardin in may posts in this forum) THIS is the Process I suggest you follow, to the letter! With the device plugged in, uninstall any driver you have in the device Manager! Check for any other Error or Warning indicators in there and uninstall them as well. Unplug your Capture device and put it aside until you are completely finished. Download and install the Revo Uninstaller. Then run it in Moderate Mode to remove any traces of Roxio. Then turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc. Now insert your Roxio Disc. Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows) When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot. Now you should have both drivers listed when you plug in your Capture Device, as I have shown in the first picture.

sknis
Did you have your antivirus active during the install? Are you using a USB hub or a post that is the front of your computer (if not a laptop)? USe a USB port on the back of your computer. Are you using a USB 3 port or USB 2? Try a different one and make sure that the device is properly seated.

You have to uninstall and reinstall the program (not the drivers only) as recommnded above in post #
