Can't Detect Video

Tamloo

Question

I own a Roxio Video Capture USB device that came with the Easy VHS to DVD. Unfortunately, I cannot find my CD or keycode to install it, however I did install the drivers from http://www.roxio.com...creator/device/. I installed it... and I'm getting audio with Wirecast (a software for streaming) but I'm not getting video. And before you say... "It only works with Roxio products".... no it doesn't. It has worked before with the drivers on the cd. Perhaps I'm getting the wrong drivers or something? Again, only the audio works, I cannot get the video feed to be recognized.

And I have checked my Device Manager on my computer. It says that I have the "Roxio Video Capture USB" device under the "Sound, video and game controllers" but I also have it as an "unknown device" under "other devices".

I hope that someone will help me get pointed in the right direction!

Thanks!

Then you should know what to do to make it work!

Most users here use it with the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD Software that came with the USB Capture Device..

Yes... but I got a new computer so I'm trying to install it on this one. Is there anyone that I can get into contact with at Roxio?

It says that I have the "Roxio Video Capture USB" device under the "Sound, video and game controllers" but I also have it as an "unknown device" under "other devices".

With the USB Device plugged in right click delete/uninstall Roxio Video Capture USB" device under the "Sound, video and game controllers" and "unknown device" under "other devices".

Unplug the USB Device and reboot the PC, now leave the USB Device unplugged and run the driver download again "RoxioVideoCaptureUSBDriver_KM00EXD0SQA.exe" and reboot the PC.

When the PC is up and running plug in the USB Device and look for two entries under "Sound, video and game controllers"..

Now answer Walt's questions in post #4 he may be able to get you help with the software and CD-Key.
