Effect Selector And Transition

Dasb

Question

I am using creator 2012 pro and I have windows vista. I am trying to put some special effects into my slideshow. After following the instructions in the tutorial I click on 'show effect selector' but nothing shows up; rather, it says, "there are no items to show in this view". I don't know if I am just doing it wrong or missing a step but either way I am confused. When it comes to choosing a transition I have the same problem. Right now the only one that works for me is choosing a transition theme, but I do not want all of my transitions to be the same.

Thanks

There are about 10 or more applications within Creator 2012 that work with slide shows; would you be so kind as to tell us which one you are using?

Note 1: If you installed the program with your antivirus operating, it blocked certain parts of the program from registering properly. Put the disc back into your computer, turn off the antivirus and do a repair. It may take a couple of tries.

Hint: Use Edit Video Advanced to do your slide show. It has more options. Just to check, open that and add a couple of pictures to the timeline. try opening the effect selector. Not that you must have the computer monitor set above a minimum resolution to dock the effect.

I have been using the edit video advanced to make my slideshow. I followed through with your suggestions but the program is still not allowing me to open up the effect selector or the transitions. I tried repairing it twice and I made sure that I had no anti-virus programs running. I also adjusted my computer monitor resolution. Unfortunately I have not fixed the problem.
