Hd Pro Preview Screen Is Black

So i recenly got my new computer and the roxio was working fine. Then when i turned it on today the preview screen stays black i can here my ps3 but no video. When i record and stop recording i can see the video perfectly but the preview screen is still the same.

A couple have had that and I think it comes from a Video Card/Chip issue...

 

Make sure your Video Card/Chip Software is set to DEFAULT ~ no tweeking

 

Make sure that both the drivers and software are up to date.

 

And it wouldn't hurt to do a proper repair of Roxio:

 

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

 

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

 

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

 

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

 

When you reach the screen where

Repair

is offered, choose that!

 

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Sadly i tried the repair before posting and that did not work. Do you mind telling me were would i go to see if my video chip/software is at default?

You also realize that the repair proceedure may need to be run up to 3 times???

Ok ill give the repair a couple more tries and i'll get back to you. I was also doing some testing and the preview screen seems to come in when i record in 480p but when i stop recording it goes black again.
