maren
I am trying to get started converting my movies, VHS to DVD. I have followed the setup, and my computer recognizes the video feed, but no sound is being recognized. Do you have an idea of what could be wrong? maren
so i just found another post about movies, such as disney movies, copying them to DVD....so it looks like it cannot be done - legally. I wish it told me that on the package. I own the VHS disney movies. I don't see wny I cannot take MY movies and convert them to a format that works for me. I bought this $60 program for nothing. Jim_Hardin
...as far as the Audio, you need to right click on our speaker icon and see what is checked under Recording Devices. It should be set to Line In AND! Left Click on the same icon and check in the Mixer to make sure the Roxio Sound Editor is not set to mute 'I feel' that the legality is a bit gray when it comes to VHS tapes... There are 2 laws - one upholding the copyright protection of digital media and another allowing an individual an archive copy. While one would assume an archive copy of a TAPE would be be onto another TAPE, it was not spelled out! Likewise as the Players are slowly disappearing??? I got into video as a means of archiving my LaserDisc's Seen any LaserDisc players at Wal Mart lately?
