I've got all my videos recorded and saved on my PC but it wont let me burn them onto the DVD. It gives me an error message "please insert recordable DVD" This is the disk I am using http://www.bestbuy.c...11#tab=overview

If you are using the media in the link that you provided, then your problem is that you need to use DVDs, not CDs, to burn your videos. The software is telling you that.

thanks so much for the help! I looked up the specs of the disc and it mentioned storing home videos but now i paid closer attention to the size too which is only 700 MB... so yes, "DVD's" are what i needed afterall

That is missleading...

They are referring to storing Video files as Data Files...

Yes that can be done and a few DVD or BD Players will play video files is some formats... But that IS NOT a DVD Movie ;)

Also, save yourself some trouble and go for quality media, such as: Verbatim (Singapore) and Taiyo Yuden (JVC)!

These are 2 that have earned respect.
