My Roxio game capture card used to work just fine perfectly, and clearly on my dads laptop. but when I got a windows 8 laptop Lenovo and whenever I record the audio is very laggy and then the video has these weird lines cut into the middle of the screen. Please help.

Sounds like the new PC does not have the horse power the old one had?
