I tried re-installing, but that didn't work either. There is also this error that sometimes pop up: Unplug the USB Device and leave it unplugged until I tell you to plug it back in. Turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc. Now insert your Roxio Disc. Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows) When you reach the screen where Repair is offered, choose that! When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot. Now open the Roxio program and plugin the USB Device. Does it work now?

0 cdanteek 221 Report post Posted June 22, 2013 Here it is. Download MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 3 to your desktop, msxml.msi 2.3 MB here, http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=15697. Shut all programs down, antivirus/firewall software too, run the download from your desktop and reboot when it's done. Turn your antivirus/firewall software back on. Does the program freeze now? 0 CrystalAura 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2013 (edited) Do you have another PC to install it on and check if the device is working? I do, but it's not mine. My laptop has been working fine with Roxio Game Capture since 2012. It had no problems recently until now. *Edit* I tried recording using my other old video capturing device, One Touch Video Game Capture VC500, and it caused my laptop to freeze up too. So it's not just my Roxio being the problem, I assume my laptop isn't accepting recording material. Edited June 24, 2013 by CrystalAura
