Libre
How do I fade in and out between song tracks? It seems that I can only cross fade and I don't want any overlap.
tsantee
You can adjust any overlap using the controls in the custom fade window. You might also want to add a brief pause between tracks to assure no overlap. You can preview how the fade out and fade in play while in the custom fade window. Libre
I have gone to the customs window fade and I can't figure out how to change the sliders so that I get the fade without the overlap. The best I can achieve is with using the little fading icon buttons on the bottom right of the window. I also couldn't figure out how to include a pause between songs with the fade option.... It seems that the fade disappears when I include a pause between songs. Is there available for this program? I sure could use one. The tutorials are a bit minimal. tsantee
Set the pause to 0 seconds in the main Toast window. Click on one of the presets that represents how fast you want the fade in or fade out. A window pops up asking for the duration of the fade. Set it to zero seconds (it will actually be 0:00:01 seconds). Select the Custom crossfade option. Uncheck the Equal Power box. Now drag the top of the black fade adjustment line to the left to set the fade out of the left-most track. Drag the top of the lower-track's fade in box to the right. Preview how it sounds by clicking Preview Crossfade.
