I am using Roxio Creator NXT Pro, Version 14.0.36.0;5.0.0.0. I am having a problem with Roxio BackOnTrack. I use the Advanced Backup Settings.
I want to use an incremental backup, whereas the software will create a full backup, then on a weekly basis just backup new and changed files and folders.
In advanced settings, I have included email, documents, pictures, video, and music to backup.
My destination is set as my 1 terabyte external drive.
My scheduling is set as weekly, Sunday, at 11:50 pm.
My type of backup is set as Incremental, and to create a full backup after 5 increments.
I do not use encryption.
I do not use compression.
I have saved my settings.
The software continues to make full backup sets each week. I have removed the backup set completely, several times, and created a new backup, and the same thing continues to happen. My external backup drive has one terabyte, and after about seven backups, the drive is full, and the backup stops working. That is the reason I want to use Incremental Backup. I only want to backup the files and folders that were changed the previous week. I don't need a new full backup set every week.
How can I get this software to make a full backup set, then incremental backups?
