I am using a Canon Optura 20 Mini DV camcorder to perform analog to digital conversion from an old Sony Video 8 Handycam. I have the Canon connected via firewire to my Dell Studio XPS 8000 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. In the Roxio Media Import screen I am able to select the "Canon DV Device". When I press play on the Sony device the Roxio video screen plays the live feed of the converted video signal and I can hear the converted audio. However, the "Capture Now" and "Capture Entire Video" buttons are not enabled. I cannot figure out how to capture the video signal with the Roxio tools. Any ideas? Do I need to purchase a different video capture tool?
