Roxio Game Capture Hd Pro Has Stopped Working...



Hi all, I hadnt used my roxio in about a month and today I plugged it in and I open up roxio program it loads and then says roxio game capture had pro has stopped working. It worked perfectly up until today. Even with the device disconnected this error occurs. The program can't even load fully. I have reinstalled everything multiple times and would appreciate some help! Since it happens both when roxio is plugged in and whens it is not, I don't know if it's a hardware issue or a software issue? thanks and plz respond with help!

Try these steps Exactly as listed:



Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.


Download and install the
Uninstaller. Then run it in
Moderate Mode
to remove any traces of Roxio.


Then turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.


Now insert your Roxio Disc.


Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)


When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.


I found your June post in the wrong Forum, which might explain why it was never addressed ;)
