photoguy228

Question

I have seen problems with this error code before in the forum, with no solution offered.....trying to burn a Photoshow CD or DVD and always get this code. Using Photoshow version 6.0.0 Build 672. You must have some way for the product to work....just about fed up with Roxio. Thanks

No one bothered to respond to the questions asked about the error so we could not do any kind of a trouble shoot. Please don't do the same.

1) Tell us about your computer via dxdiag.exe text as an attachment. Follow these instructions.

2) Are you using a PC or a MAC?

3) Are you using the desktop version or the on-line version?

4)Do you have videos as well as images?

5) Can you make a video file of the PhotoShow. If you can't it may tell us that there is sometime with the show or the software. If you can, then it may point to a hardware issue.

6) If you are using the desktop version did you redownload and reinstall the software (please try that).

7) Di it ever work properly?

8) We are not Roxio not Corel. You are talking to users who want to help. We, as users don't have any control over the software.

I was able to save a .wmv file.......

That is a good sign and it almost rules out the software except for the burning engine.

Does Windows see your burner (optical drive). If so have you been able to burn anything to a DVD with Windows? Use a RW disc so you can use it again.

What Cyberlink program do you have on your computer? I'm asking just to see if you have something to use to burn the wmv file as a DVD or CD. There is no concern about having both Roxio and Cyberlink on your computer at the same time.

BTW, when you get a chance, update the drivers for your video card/chip from AMD.
