Burn Dvds From Old Vhs

I have old VHS movies that I want to be able to play on our TV/DVD. I rendered the digital media into the movie format and then try to create DVDs as recommended. When the disk is at 97% complete, it just stops working, no error messages. I have been reading the blogs, but have not come across how to repair this issue. I have another software simply called "Roxio" that is several years old. Would that interfere with this new version? Would appreciate any help you can give; am software challenged.

Post some information like the full name of the Roxio Software and version number your using.

Roxio Creator NXT; running windows 7, 64-bit. Using the Roxio "create DVDs" tab. It burns to 97% and ...freezes? Acts like still burning, but nothing happens for hours until I cancel the process.

That can be a hard one to pin down...

 

First thing is under Tools - Options - Render, change it to Software!

 

Reboot and try it out.

 

Another way is to "Burn" to File (iso) or Folder... See if that wil finish, then we can talk about what to do next

I have been editing and then "Rendering" my videos. The movie file is then saved onto my hard drive. It is this file I am trying to burn to DVD with Roxio Creator NXT. But I will try the tools-option-render as well.

Another thing to try is to start a New Project, just to see if the one you are having trouble with is corrupted
