Problem With Vhs To Dvd 3

Question

hi, i'm new to the forum and to capturing video. I've been having a problem with my vhs to dvd 3 program. I have it installed and connected. I can see the video and hear it when I play the vhs...but when I go to record it it crashes...I hear it for a couple of seconds, the screen goes black then to green then nothing...when I stop recording it it doesn't let me do anything else. what i have for specs is: windows 7 home premium, processor: amd Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 5200+ 2.60ghz, RAM 3.00 GB, System type: 64-bit...i'm not sure if i have a graphics card or not. i also checked the device manager and i have both drivers installed....anyways i would appreciate any help...it's been a frustrating experience.

That would be frustrating!!!

Lets try a repair:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your Roxio USB Capture Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
