hi guys. so i have ps3 connected to roxio and that to tv and recording pc. have a look at this:
as you can hear from the engineer's voice and see from the laptime clock, the recording speed is off and it varies, sometimes picking way up sometimes close to normal. on average, speed is about double to normal. this is the way it looks in videowave preview too so it's not a video file generation issue. i have tried to capture as both avi and divx but the same effect. other capture settings are input 480i/576i and tv standard pal_b, no idea if these are right. console outputs through av not hdmi.
anyone know what the problem is ?
best, harri s
ps. the reason for black and whiteness i don't have a 5-way component av cable from ps2, just 3-way 2 audio 1 video, but i can't imagine how that would affect recording speed. am getting that cable next week though.
