Roxio Game Capture Won't Edit

Dazzikins

Question

Hello,

My Roxio Game Capture HD Pro will not edit and I've been trying multiple solutions from this very forum and a few youtube videos to figure out what's wrong with it. When I want to edit, it just says that the program isn't responding correctly and forces the program shut, much like what is mentioned in this topic here: http://forums.suppor...-or-edit-video/

I have already checked to see what version my game capture was and it is the the updated SP1 version, so I'm at a loss as to why it won't work. I can record just fine, but as for the actual editing, it just won't work. I would like to mention that I've re-installed this program twice and I'm getting the same issue. I will post my current PC specs below:

You tired a "solution" for a product you don't even have

Your install is flawed and that needs to be fixed. But another thing that can cause this is tweaks you may have made with your laptop... Make sure you have not overclocked your CPU or done anything to your graphics card/chip ;)

Then try these steps:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
