First let me say I've got a dinosaur Dell computer but have upgraded a few things such as RAM, HD Monitor along with NVidia GT620 Video Card (system info below).
OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600
System Manufacturer Dell Inc.
System Model Dimension 4700
System Type X86-based PC
Processor x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 1 GenuineIntel ~2992 Mhz
BIOS Version/Date Dell Inc. A10, 1/4/2006
Total Physical Memory 2,560.00 MB
Available Physical Memory 978.45 MB
Total Virtual Memory 2.00 GB
Available Virtual Memory 1.96 GB
The Roxio Version I have is:
"Roxio Creator Premier Version: 10.2.606, Build: 116B06A, DLP".
From researching I am assuming this version is somewhat equivalent to Easy Media Creater 10 (which is why I am posting in this forum) but please correct me if I am wrong.
I've never used or even opened up and explored Roxio (which came installed with this Dell Computer) until just a week ago after arriving back from a trip with the intentions of creating a High Def slideshow using photos taken with digital camera. However, I have created and saved a SlideShow project as well as created a few files for this SlideShow (one being an MP4 DIVX and the other a WMA file), both in HD 1920 x 1080 using this version of Roxio.
My goal is to create an HD SlideShow and burn it do a Blu-Ray disc if at all possible given my system info, Version of Roxio I have and provided I am not too ignorant. So please forgive my seemingly apparent lack of knowledge in these areas beforehand.
As stated, I want to burn this SlideShow onto a BD, yet when on step 3(Output), there is no option to do this. The only Disc Format options are DVD, VCD, SVCD and DVD without menus.
I think I recall seeing a post somewhere on the net for a patch that allows for burning onto a BD with this old version of Roxio.
Is there any avenue I can utilize to create a Blu-Ray Disc with my SlideShow on it given this version I have?
Let me also add that as of yet, I do not have a Blu-Ray Burner installed but was anticipating getting an internal one for this old dinosaur computer.
