Mp4 Problem With Easy Dvd Burning With Windows 8

JosephineEgan

Question

Hello, I made a slideshow on Windows Movie Maker and finalized it as a .mp4 file. I was looking to burn the movie onto a blank DVD so we could watch it on the TV so I purchased the Roxio Easy CD and DVD Burning Program. However, when I click 'add new movie' on myDVD express and try to add the already finalized .mp4, I am met with an error window stating "The file you are trying to use cannot be edited, and has not been added"

sooo frustrating! Can anyone help me out???

Hello,

Please see this topic for a full discussion:

Short answer is Easy CD and DVD Burning is a cut-down version of Creator. It has had the handling of MP4 files disabled. You need to buy a full version of Creator to handle your MP4s, or else redo the slideshow in some other video format that Easy CD and DVD Burning will accept. :(

Regards,

Brendon

Edit: Here are the video types that this version is supposed to handle.
