Burn One Large Qt File On Multiple Disc

I have one Large QT file that is too large for one DVD. I burned it as a DATA file and it spanned two discs. The file is now a .mov.spanned file. I tried to retrieve the file from the two DVDs with no results. They are EXEC files. What process do I follow?

EXEC files are for PCs, not Macs. There should be a Roxio Restore application that is burned to the discs which is used to copy the joined content to a hard drive.

That would be .exe files -- but I think DaveBushong is referring to the icon that is reserved for Mac OS X Unix Executable files (CLI binaries), but these icons are sometimes also shown for files-without-suffix or files-with-unknown-suffix, especially on removable media.
