I recently got my Roxio capture device. I have noticed that when I record there will be multiple short videos. Even ones that are mila seconds long up to nine minutes long. Is there a way I can just make one long video?

There are a dozen or so ways to capture which include PC and MAC. We'll need more information. Product, version, application, source, capture device, computer and anyhting else you can think of.

Help us help you ! ;)

Well I have a PC. It is not new but it can run a lot of programs really good I got it from a friend a month ago. I am using Windows XP if that makes any difference. My capture device is the Roxio game capture HD pro.

Please post your computer specs. "it can run a lot of programs really good" means absolutely nothing.

What does this mean "Even ones that are mila seconds long up to nine minutes long"?

Also tell us exactly how you are hooked up, etc.

Does it record to a single file, or multiple? Make sure that you have unchecked the box "set recording length to" (or something similar), ths might help.

Or are you referring to the file being split into parts when loading it into an editing program such as CyberLink PowerDirector? I recently had an issue with xbox 360 footage recorded through HDMI where my recorded material wouldn't load properly into the program. check this topic to find what I was experiencing and how I solved it.
