Problem With "my Dvd"

Hi, first post here. When trying to burn dvd the encoding window opens up and the top 50% of the image is cropped out, there is just a black bar there but the bottom half of the video shows fine and even plays while encoding. The finished dvd has the same cropping on it. I've been using NXT for about a year now, until recently I had no problems with it. I'm not sure if it is the computer, the software or the videos, my other computer has an older version of creator and it will burn the same videos with no problem. Thanks. John

I think I've solved the problem, after updating the video driver and an uninstall-reinstall of nxt, both to no avail, I changed the encoding settings from interlaced to progressive and it worked Thanks.

What have you updated lately ?

 

Video card drivers?

 

Windows updates?

 

Something updated hosed your Roxio Nxt installation.

 

Some registry cleaners, even ones embedded in antivirus software have been a problem in the past.

There is another and similar thread along the same lines. What video format/frame size and format are you starting with and what are you trying to make with it.
