Jim_Hardin
"Trim" means Make it Shorter... You want to make the Audio Shorter than the Video Or you just Edit - Native Audio, been there the whole time. Might be better if you explain what it is you are trying to accomplish

Jim_Hardin
Pad the Video by adding a Blank Panel. Set it to fairly large amount, say 10 seconds. Then you can add your audio push it to where you want it, and lastly split and delete what you don't need

How can you make a beginning shorter? Do you mean you want to make the audio shorter by removing some audio at the beginning of the audio clip? Jim_Hardin
Hi Walt! I believe he has an Audio Clip and wants it to start at some point after BEFORE the beginning of the Audio VIDEO Clip... He either has to use another editor to trim off some from the beginning or go with the temporary 'padding' I suggested so he can shift the audio to the "left" until he reaches the point where he wants the audio AND the video to start. Then he can split and delete both at that point Actually since most folks would not know the precise second/frame to put it in sync, an external editor is going to lead to a lot of trial and error! This way he can do it within VW and get it synced. Edit: James I can supply a few pictures if you have any trouble following my suggestion... Edit 2: Walt caught me
