Cannot Play, And Capture At The Same Time.

Pretty much the hdmi input works fine but, the output to my monitor does not work.. the video comes and goes but the screen is very orange and green. when the video works it's only for a split second. any ideas? i've tried multiple hdmi cables and different tv's and computer monitors

The picture is great but it tells us nothing of how you got there...

could it just be an issue with the Roxio gamecap itself or what? i've never tried the component cables so im thinking it has to do with the hdmi port

by setup do you mean my computer, or how i have the roxio hooked up?

i have the proper setup when it comes to setting up the roxio to the console and pc, from what i know everything is correct

Yeah, with HDMI it is pretty hard to go wrong

 

But with an Xbox there have been issues letting it Auto Select... It should be SET to Component or HDMI, whichever one you are using!

 

Could it be the RGC Device itself??? Sure but you have to prove that and to do that you need to TRY another source

 

Instead of asking questions, if you provide us information about your PC and Setup we might not have to guess

My computer specs are, Processor: AMD FX-6120 six-core 3.5 GHz, 10 GB ram, Windows 8 64 bit, AMD Radeon HD 7450. My roxio software seems to be up to date and everything seems to be working properly except the Video Output from the RGC device

Have you tried another source input to the Roxio Capture card?.

 

Use a DVD Player/Blue-ray, anything with a HDMI output.
