File Problems in DVD Builder

I am having a problem with adding certain titles to DVD Builder in Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 (Build 7.0.430.0 ENU). When I click on "Add New Title" it brings up all the files in my directory. Most of the titles show a movie scene as an icon, but a couple of them show a circle with a line going through it, as shown below, and it won't allow me to add them. The file plays fine in Windows Media Player.

 

 

This seems to happen with .avi files, but may happen to other file types as well. Is this a problem with the file? Is there anything I can do to get these files to burn?

Since it plays in WMP, it appears you have the correct codecs. This file is most likely a divx or xvid file. You can try running the Prefup fix then rebooting and try adding it again. This helps most but not everytime.

Thanks Paul. I tried that but still no difference. What does the Prefup fix do?
