Song Sequence Of Burned Cd

I used Music CD Creator and dragged 82 mp3 files into the window. They were sequenced in the order I wanted them to play, but after I burned the CD, the play order is all wrong. Why give you the ability to order the songs and then burn them the way the software wants. How can I fix this?

How did you sequence them? Since mp3 files are just data files they are displayed in the order determined by Windows. There is really nothing to fix.

I opened the project I had saved in Roxio in the Music CD Creator window, then under options, chose to rename the files to preserve the order I had in my playlist. Kind of clunky, but it worked.

Right, that's the solution in this case, for an MP3 CD. As Walt said, they are files, and as such, Windows will order them alphabetically. So renaming them to preserve the order is what needed to happen, unless you created a playlist for whatever device or program you were going to use to play back the disc.
