I can't get this to run. I have repaired the installation but no luck.


A message comes up that the service cannot run, maybe it is not installed properly.




Hi RAPR. There have been changes in BOT with newer and older versions of Creator. You posted in the Creator NXT section of the forum. NXT BOT is different from the one in, for example, Creator 2012. Just so we are working on the same version, do you have Creator NXT and do you have the standard version or the PRO version?

Thanks for that. It now works. There were a couple of files downloaded when I checked for updates. I presume this was a bug-fix.

...not too sure, there never has been an update (SP1) but there is updated installer and that was likely what you noted ;)


But keep in mind that the BOT of New, is not the same as the BOT of Christmas Past... :(


IF you really rely on a Backup Software you will be better off buying a name brand separate program! At least then you will have updates etc.

What happens after you perform a proper repair procedure?


First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.


Now insert your Roxio Disc.


Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)


When you reach the screen where
is offered, choose that!


When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
