Can I Attach Dvd Player Or Camcorder

Respected Sir, I am interested in buying Roxio Game Capture HD PRO. I am from India. I have some small doubt.

Can I attach DVD Player or Camcorder to Capture Video and edit them in any video software? My sister is in USA. If it works then she wants to buy for me. Reply as early as possible.

Partial Yes...

 

It can record from any device but ONLY if the input is Component (P_R, P_B & Y)

 

HDMI works with Games and Camcorders but rarely with any other device as the HDCP protection will be detected and it won't allow recording...

 

It Will Not recognize any Composite (Y, W, R) input.

 

It can only Record in MTS format but can output in many others from the Editor.
