Downloaded the software and connected to a vcr. Inserted tape and hit record on Roxio. Video and audio played fine on computer and it was recorded. When finished, hit stop button and waited for the disc to finish and eject. (approx. 30 minutes).Tried to play in my dvd player and got nothing. Tried to play on laptop and same thing. What am I doing wrong? Help

Did you use the Record/Edit/Save option as ogdens suggested?

Use Windows Explorer and look at the DVD you created. Does it have a Video_TS folder and does that folder contain a number of files with the extensions ifo, bup and vob?

How long in time was your capture?

What do you mean by "Downloaded the software and connected to a vcr"?

What software did you download and from where?
