CCXRebeloution
Hi , When i load my clip into video wave and play it in video wave the clip plays fine at first but, then the Audio keeps playing and the video freezes for a few seconds and the counter freezes, and then catches up by a few seconds . I've been using Video Wave for a few months now and this Problem just started recently. With this issue it is Impossible to do a commentary on my production and, it is making a normal video edit i would do in an hour or two take up to 3 days. any solution would be most welcomed . cheers Reb
0 Jim_Hardin
First impression would be your PC is overloaded... You didn't include any specs However you can start with a Proper Repair: First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc. Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished. Now insert your Roxio Disc. Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows) When you reach the screen where Repair is offered, choose that! When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

0 Jim_Hardin
I guess you are runing some version of Windows??? Your CPU is at the minimum needed... that could be an issue if you try anything while rendering. RAM is mostly irrelivant to editing and your HDD space is super! I was playing something on my Dell 8300 yesterday and noticed similar behavior... Video takes A LOT so it may just be overloaded. If you have another PC you can test the file on that might tell us something
0 CCXRebeloution
I'm running Windows 8 . i Have no problems rendering videos , I only have problems playing the video in preview screen while editing. I don't have another PC available to me at the moment to try and run my vids on . all my other vids i play on the pc seem to be fine it's just when i run them through video wave for edit i have the problem. how do i go about checking if my system is overloaded and how would i rectify it? Thanks Reb Edited September 11, 2013 by CCXRebeloution
0 Jim_Hardin
You will have to load a video you are having issues with onto a thumb drive or something like that, and try it on another PC Preferably one that well exceeds the minimums.
