Capturing Analog Video To Dvd

Question

I've been recording a class on VHS tape. I have a VHS player and my trusty computer with a DVD burner. All the editing I need to do is remove dead time and record multiple tapes on one DVD. I notice that Roxio has an easy VHS to DVD program with the A/D converter hardware. Can I do this simple editing in EMC 10? What's the best way to proceed here?

TIA for any advice.

If you buy the VHS to DVD package, you won't need EMC 10 (which is very old, obsolete and may not work on an updated computer). The VJD to DVD program does have a version of Creator to do the simple editing jobs you are describing. . Go here, scroll down to the VHS to DVD user's guide for more information.
