Roxio Easy Vhs To Dvd Recording Error

Question

Hi guys,

I've recently upgraded my Windows 7 Professional PC to accommodate two new 4TB HDDs. My C: is still on an older 1TB drive.

I was wanting to save my Easy VHS to DVD recordings on one of the two new 4TB drives, each formatted as GPT (not FAT32 or NTFS), but Roxio records for 0 - 1 second and then stops. When I record to my C:, formatted as NTFS, it records perfectly.

This also happens with my copy of Easy VHS to DVD 3 PLUS.

So, here are my questions:

1/ Is there a known issue with easy VHS to DVD &/ or easy VHS to DVD 3 PLUS whereby they won't record to GPT formatted Windows drives?

2/ If there is an issue, is there a patch for either/ both programs which will allow my to record to GPT drives?

3/ Is there a newer version of this program which will allow me to save to the GPT drives if a patch or work-around is not available?

Thanks for your assistance - I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,

TheBillABCTV

Is there a good reason why you haven't formatted your new 4TB drive to NTFS ? If that works fine

I suggest to use that format.

This Topic was placed by Andrew who is troubleshooting Bill's PC.

I don't know why it didn't get added to the existing topic or put in the EVD 3 Forum as it relates to THIS topic.
