Works On My Pc And Old Nookcolor... But Not On My Ipad2 !

samdog

Question

Finally found a slideshow product that seems simple enough for me and my friends.

Ready to 'sign on the dotted line'

but noticed it does not work on my Ipad2.

Amazingly, it DOES work on my old NookColor, beautifully !!

I cannot believe this stumbling block has risen it's ugly head.

Many of todays users work a high percentage of time

with their Ipod or Ipad or tablet of some sort.

Am I missing something ?

I definately like this ROXIO product...PhotoShow, but am wondering if I should look elsewhere for something that might be more up to date as far as end user is concerned.

As I said it works just find on my desktop and 2-3 year old NookColor....but...

thanks in advance for a speedy response...

sam

Not being an iPad owner or user, I believe the stumbling block is Apple's refusal to allow Flash media player, which I think is what Photoshow uses. If I'm wrong, hopefully someone else will jump in and correct me. But if that's the case, then I don't think there's a good solution for getting it to work on the iPad. Talk to Apple. :)

Yes, Photo Show uses flash format but I don;t know if that is the problem. You should be able to make a PhotoShow on an IDevice but the feature to make and download an mp4 file is broken and has never been fixed. I bet that the mp4 would play.
