My New Dvd Will Play On Mac And Pc Computer But Will Not Play On Portable Dvd Player

Made a regular DVD following the how to video disk plays fine on any computer but will not play on DVD player DVD player just kicks out the disk

I can think of only two possibilities. One is that the DVD player doesn't support burned video DVDs. The other is there is something about the disc media you used that the player doesn't like. Try using a DVD-R disc if you used DVD+R (or vice versa). Try a different brand of disc, such as Verbatim. Check if the DVD player has a firmware update available.

Thanks for the info. Have tried all your suggestion, alas did not work. Several month ago I did make some DVD's and they worked fine. only difference was the video clips.

This is puzzling. If it plays with DVD Player on the Mac then it should play otherwise. An exception is if you have Toast Preferences set for PAL and you are in a NTSC region.
